The construction of a new timber processing plant is planned in the Vologda region

19 November 2021 ` 17:40

The creation of a new timber processing plant is planned on the basis of the Velikoustyug forestry enterprise – a branch of the ACS of forestry of the Vologdaleskhoz VO.

Woodworking facilities for the production of dry planed boards will be created at the production site; raw materials will be sawn using highly efficient imported equipment. The volume of investments in the project is about 400 million rubles. Up to 50 new jobs will be created with the provision of sawmilling in 2 shifts. Modern construction technologies will be used in the construction of the woodworking complex. The first production lines are slated to launch in 2022.

Let us recall that the Velikoustyugsky site is the third stage in the creation of woodworking industries within the investment project of the ACS of forestry of the Vologdaleskhoz VO, the first is being successfully implemented in Syamzhensky, the second in Totemsky districts.
