Mostovdrev looking for investors for furniture production

Mostovdrev JSC (Belarus) is looking for an investor for the development of furniture production, said the General Director of the company Sergey Ososov. The company has completed the implementation of the investment project of MDF/HDF mill and has already released trial volumes of panels.

According to Sergei Ososov, about 50% of the production will be supplied to the domestic market, as furniture manufacturers are interested in it. In addition, the company intends to export panels, primarily to Russia (company’s partners who already purchase its plywood are ready to buy the panels). There are also agreements of intent with the Baltic States, the Middle East and Turkey.

The launch of this production opens up prospects for the development of the existing furniture factory. The company plans to upgrade it. Mostovdrev intends to implement this project with the help of the investor and has prepared investment proposal, as it concluded in a press release.
