Kronospan plans to produce wood boards on the the territory of advanced development of Primorye

According to Ardasher Kurbansho, General Director of Kronospan LLC: “Primorye has a great export potential: the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China are nearby. The project will be more competitive if it is produced and sold from the Far East. The emergence of production in the Far Eastern Federal district will ensure our strong presence in the global market.”

The head of the subsidiary of the Austrian holding stressed that the production will not use business wood, and raw materials for the production of chipboard, MDF and OSB will use  slab, chips, sawdust and pruning.

The site for production, as the most suitable in terms of logistics, can be either the territory of advanced development “Nadezhdinskaya” or “Mikhailovsky”.
