Kirov region: tax and non-tax revenues from the forest sector in the budget amounted to 2.5 billion rubles

Tax and non-tax revenues from the forest sector to the budget of the Kirov region in 2018 amounted to about 2.5 billion rubles, which is 40.8% higher than in 2017.

— The result was achieved through the effective holding of auctions, activation of claims activity, recovery of damage caused to forests, as well as effective interdepartmental cooperation, — said the Minister of Forestry of the Kirov region Alexei Shurgin at a meeting of the government on March 27, 2019.

In 2018, the enterprises of the timber industry of the Kirov region produced products in the amount of 26.8 billion rubles.

Last year, the budget system of the Russian Federation received payments from the use of forests in the Kirov region in the amount of 1 billion 616.3 million rubles, which is 35.2% higher than in 2017. Of these, the Federal budget received 781.6 million rubles, the budget of the Kirov region – 834.7 million rubles.

At the end of 2018, the Kirov region ranked first in Russia in terms of the effectiveness of the execution of the delegated powers in the field of forest relations. In 2017, the region occupied the eighth position.
