For the last 6 months at the plant they carried out replacement of the equipment on conveyors of production on giving of raw materials, automated processes on loading of raw materials and packages on plywood production, replaced part of the equipment in production cases, established flaw detectors, carried out actions for improvement of working conditions of employees.

Multichannel flaw detectors were installed at the plant as part of a comprehensive investment program for quality. At the stage of plywood collection, they reveal the presence of internal voids and bundles and give an idea of the internal state of the product.

“The equipment will allow better control of the strength of the adhesive layer,” says the head of the service for technology and quality Julia Podozyorova.

The hot pressing process was automated at the plant, including the automated loading of pre-pressed packages. Now workers can control the process from the console. With the implementation of the project, single maintenance and repair zones were organized for each production. The entire working space of the premises is organized according to the 5S system. This organization contributes to the competent allocation of time and improve the efficiency and mobility of services. In addition to the properly arranged workspace, the rooms also have a place to relax.
