In the Far East, the resident of the free port has launched a new wood processing production

According to the press service of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the development of the Far East, the company “TAUNGA-LES” has begun to provide services for logging and production of sawn timber from softwood. The investment project worth 30.8 million rubles and designed to create 41 jobs was implemented on the territory of the Vanino district of the Khabarovsk territory under an agreement with the Far East development Corporation JSC.

“Our company has two lines for the production of sawmill products and one line for the production of pellets, – says the Director of” TAUNGA-FOREST ” Alexey Shapenkov. – The first batch of products we have already produced-is edged lumber of different sections and varieties.”

A resident of the free port of Vladivostok processes the purchased wood, coniferous trees are used. The capacity of the plant is designed to process 53,000 cubic meters of round wood per year. The output of finished products is planned at the level of 55-60% of the volume of supplied raw materials. From sawmill waste, the investor will annually produce fuel pellets in the amount of up to 2,500 tons.

According to JSC “Corporation for the development of the Far East”, the number of residents of the free port of Vladivostok reached 1119. The total amount of the announced projects is more than 597 billion rubles, the implementation of which will create about 61 thousand modern jobs. Moreover, 101 projects have already been launched, residents have invested more than 54 billion rubles in the region’s economy and created 6658 jobs.
