In Dagestan, it will spend 3 million rubles on reforestation

The forestry Committee of Dagestan has been involved in the implementation of the Federal project “forest Conservation” since 2019.

The national project, which is associated with the Republican state program “Development of the forestry of Republic of Dagestan for 2013-2020”, is designed for 5 years from 2019 to 2024.

During the implementation of the project, it is planned to increase the area of reforestation on forest lands not leased by at least 2.7 thousand hectares, of which 514 hectares of reforestation will be carried out in 2019. To carry out the work, the project provides for the cultivation of planting material of forest plants – 1.2 million pieces, harvesting seeds of forest plants – 5.5 tons.

Financial support of the project is carried out mainly from the Federal budget. From 2019 to 2024, the Republic of Dagestan will allocate 3.0 million rubles within the project, for this period, extra-budgetary funds in the amount of 6.0 million rubles will also be attracted.

For the first time since 2010, according to the project, Dagless will be able to update the fleet fire-fighting purposes and to acquire other forestry equipment for afforestation.
