In 2021, Russia increased the pellets export by 6.7%

According to the Federal Customs Service of Russia, in 2021, the export volume of wood pellets from Russia increased by 6.7% YoY to 2.458 million tons. The main buyers of Russian pellets in the reporting period were: Denmark — 957 thousand tons (-2.3%), Belgium — 386 thousand tons (+46.2% YoY), South Korea — 164 thousand tons (-10.9% YoY).

The value of Russian pellet exports in 2021 increased by 1% YoY to $295 million.
