Ilim Group completed the construction of a pulp-and-cardboard mill

The construction of a pulp-and-cardboard mill by Ilim Group finished in Ust-Ilimsk, as reported by the State Residential Construction Supervision Authority of the Irkutsk Region that issued a statement of compliance with the facility’s design documentation requirements. The development footprint exceeded 330 ha.

The new plant’s capacity is 600,000 t of finished products per year. Two-ply cardboard for corrugated cardboard liners will be produced here from virgin fiber (kraftliner). 93 billion rubles was invested in the construction. The plant started producing first pilot batches of product in summer 2023.
