L-PAK started building Phase I of the corrugated cardboard and packaging products production plant in the Kashira Special Economic Zone. The investor has already procured the corresponding permit. This was reported by the press office of the Ministry of Investment, Industry, and Science of the Moscow Region.

“The investment project will be implemented in two phases. The company is planning to complete the construction of the production and warehouse facility with an area of 62,000 m² in Q4 2024. Once the corrugated cardboard and packaging products plant is commissioned, L-PAK will start building a waste paper recycling facility. The entire project will be implemented over three years. At the first stage, 480 jobs will be created at the enterprise, whose headcount will be subsequently increased to 1,300 employees. The total investment value of the entire project implementation is estimated at 19 billion rubles,” said Ekaterina Zinovyeva, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.

The new enterprise near Moscow will produce four-flap boxes, complex-cutting items, and large-size containers. At Phase I, the output will reach 20 million m² of corrugated cardboard. In the future, the output will increase to 50 million m².

The Moscow Region Development Corporation will assist project implementation within the Kashira Special Economic Zone.
