Arkhbum LLC received a new batch of Tikhvin flat wagons

The Research and Production Corporation “United Wagon Company” PJSC (RPC UWC) delivered a new batch of flat wagons (40 ft) for the transportation of timber products to Arkhbum LLC.

The platforms type 13-6852-02 (40 ft) build up a significant part of the Arkhangelsk operator’s logging platform wagon fleet. According to Vasiliy Knyrevich, CEO of Arkhbum LLC, the positive experience of using the previously supplied flat wagons of this model made it possible to take a decision to purchase an extra batch.

The Tikhvin platform for timber has an increased payload capacity of 74 tons and increased stowage factor of 122 m³, which ensures a reduction in the cost of transporting a ton of cargo according to the current price list. Thanks to the design solutions used in the platform, the unused dimensional volume of the cargo is significantly reduced. A visual inspection is possible due to the openings in the side wall.
