American manufacturer of sawmill and woodworking equipment Wood-Mizer announces the expansion of production in Indiana
According to the corporate press service, Wood-Mizer announces plans to expand its production facility in Batesville, Indiana. The expansion project, which is scheduled to begin in March 2019, will increase production areas by 53 thousand square feet.
Wood-Mizer North America President Darryl Floyd noted that “the expansion of the Batesville facility will allow Wood-Mizer to meet the growing demand for equipment and take into account the wishes of our Indiana customers”.
It is planned to complete the work in October 2019. The area will increase to 132 thousand square feet, of which 124 thousand square feet will be occupied by production areas for the production of Wood-Mizer equipment for wood processing.
Since 1982, Wood-Mizer has gained a reputation as the world’s leading manufacturer of woodworking equipment. The company has a wide range of equipment, including mobile log saw equipment, band saw equipment and narrowband saws.
