IMAL-PAL Group will supply equipment for wood pellet production line to South Korea

In early 2019, the Italian manufacturer of machinery and equipment IMAL-PAL signed a contract with the Korean company Hanwha for the supply of equipment for a new pellet line with a capacity of 320 thousand tons per year ( or 40 t/h).

Delivery is scheduled for October this year. All machines are made in Italy.

In recent years, the demand for industrial wood pellets in South Korea has steadily increased. And this trend may continue over the next few years. In 2017, South Korean imports of pellets amounted to about 2.25 million tons.
