The value of investments in the project amounted to about 50 million rubles. The new line is capable of “sewing” up to 10,000 m³ of veneer per year, which will increase the annual output of large-sized plywood.

The equipment will allow to glue veneer pieces into single full-size sheets and use them in the production of large-sized plywood of 5 x 11 feet (1525 x 3355 mm). This format is in demand among enterprises in the transport and construction industries.

The line will also allow to increase the overall efficiency of the plant’s equipment, in particular of the presses, by eliminating the idle time that may occur due to a shortage of spliced veneer sheets.
