New fire safety standards were developed for multi-storey wooden houses in Russia

The documents were co-developed by the Ministry of Emergencies and DOM.RF. The new norms have already been registered with the Federal Information Fund of Standards. The new fire safety rules will apply to residential apartment blocks up to four stories high, schools up to two stories high, and single-story medical and obstetric stations built from wooden materials and wooden structures.
