Information on the origin of goods to be reflected in customs declarations in a new way from January 1, 2021

Members of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Minsk reached agreement on the enactment of the corresponding Decision of the Panel of the Eurasian Economic Commission on changing the Procedure for filling out goods declarations.

Thus, starting from January 1 of the next year, when importing goods into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, participants in foreign economic activity will be able to indicate information about both the non-preferential and preferential origin of their goods in the customs declaration. For that, the second subsection of column 34 ‘Country of Origin Code’ will be used; previously, it has not been filled out.
