Wood pulp export from Russia grew by 7.5% in January — August 2020

In January — August 2020, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia grew by 7.5% YoY, reaching 1.475 million tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies dropped from 14.3% to $637.1 million. Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 7.3%, down to 774,800 tons — and in monetary terms — by 33.6%, down to $262.7 million.
