Wood pulp export from Russia grew by 12.9% in 2020

In 2020, the volume of wood pulp export from Russia grew by 12.9% YoY, reaching 2.316 million tons, as reported by the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation. The value of foreign supplies dropped from 0.5% to $1 billion.

Newsprint paper export over the reporting period reduced both in physical terms — by 14.8%, down to 1.062 million tonnes — and in monetary terms — by 34.9%, down to $360.9 million.
