Volume of hauled timber rose by 15% in H1 2024

In H1 2024, the volume of hauled logs increased by 15% in Russia, reaching 208 million m³ (in H1 2023, it was 180.8 million m³), according to the press office of the Federal Forestry Agency (Rosleskhoz). The top 5 regions by volume of hauled timber were: the Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Arkhangelsk, and Vologda Regions, as well as Komi.

More than 4.4 million electronic accompanying documents for timber transportation were created in LesEGAIS during the reporting period. 4 million electronic accompanying documents were created over the same period last year. Log trucks annually haul around 1.1 million m³ of timber covered by approximately 24,000 electronic accompanying documents.
