US sawn timber prices show all-time highs

In the week ending April 16, 2021, the price of benchmark softwood timber commodity item Western S-P-F KD 2×4 #2&Btr rose another +$80, or +6%, to $1,210 mfbm ($465 per m³), from $1,130 the previous week, said Madison’s Lumber Reporter. That week’s price is up by +$93, or +9%, from one month ago when it was $1,040.
