In September 2021, US sawn timber prices increased 7% compared to the previous month

According to Madison’s Lumber Reporter, in the week ending September 10, 2021 the wholesaler price of benchmark softwood timber commodity item Western S-P-F KD 2×4 #2&Btr was $480 ($311/m³). This is up by +$50, or +12%, from the previous week when it was $430. Reversing major drops from earlier in the year, that week’s price was up by $33, or +7%, from one month ago when it was $447.
