In order to meet the steadily increasing demand for high-quality laminate floors, Unilin wants to increase production capacity at the Belgian plant in Vielsalm. The € 11 million investment is intended to sustainably secure the location and also create additional jobs, the company informs.

«In addition to stability and job security, this increase in our production capacity will be deployed in a safe and pleasant working environment. Unilin is constantly striving to become a «zero harm» company. Respect for people and the environment is an integral part of our corporate culture. Unilin is, for example, the first and only flooring manufacturer to be awarded the European Ecolabel for its laminate products. This is how we actively invest in the future of Unilin in Vielsalm,» says Anthony Massin, Plant Manager Unilin Vielsalm.
