Ufa Plywood Mill is listed for sale for 1 billion rubles

The property portfolio of Ufa Plywood Mill LLC (a subsidiary of Bashkirskaya Timber Company) in Bashkortostan was put up for bidding because of bankruptcy. The initial value of the lot that includes almost 1,700 items exceeds 1 billion rubles. Part of the property worth almost 500 million rubles is pledged to GeoGroup Center, Uralsky Les, and VTB Bank.  The call for auction participation applications is open until February 27, 2024. The results will be summarized on March 1.

Besides Ufa Plywood Mill, Bashkirskaya Timber Company also includes Ufa Plywood and Panel Plant and Amzinsky Timber Plant. All three companies are currently subject to bankruptcy proceedings. They were recognized as insolvent in 2019.

According to WhatWood, in 2022, Ufa Plywood Mill produced 52,000 m³ of plywood (-45% YoY).
