Timber trading volume at SPIMEX reached 3.34 million m³ in January—July 2024

In July 2024, 632,400 m³ of timber was sold in the Timber and Construction Materials section of the Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange, which surpasses last month’s performance by almost 2 times, according to the SPIMEX press office. The trading turnover exceeded 1 billion rubles in July—an increase of 37.5% MoM. 1,265 contracts were signed.

Enterprises from the Krasnoyarsk, Sverdlovsk, Tomsk, and Altai Regions, as well as Udmurtia, sold the greatest volumes in July 2024. The trading volume in the Timber and Construction Materials exchange section surged by 41.3% YoY in January—July 2024, up to 3.34 million m³.
