In January – August 2022, the timber trading volume on SPIMEX reached 3 million m³

Over 8 months of 2022, the volume of timber trading on the Saint Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX) reached 3 million m³. This was reported by Alexey Ryzhikov, Senior Managing Director at SPIMEX, who was speaking at the conference “Logs and Woodworking Products Market” in Moscow.

This segment is currently represented on the exchange by 46 Russian regions. The leaders are the Krasnoyarsk and Vologda Regions.
