The plant “Arkhbum Tissue Group” shipped the first batch of products

According to the press center of the Arkhangelsk PPM, a new plant in the Kaluga region in the IP “Vorsino” subsidiary of JSC “Arkhangelsk PPM” – LLC “Arkhbum Tissue Group” (Pulp Mill Holding Group) shipped the first batch of products of sanitary products. The starting car (33 pallets) left on February 06, 2019 in the North Caucasus Federal district.

As noted in the sales Directorate of “Arkhbum Tissue Group”, in February it is planned to ship 20 trucks to partners, and in March in terms of 150 cars.

Product portfolio: double-layer toilet paper under its own brand Soffione PureWhite, Soffione Decoro Blue and Soffione Decoro Pink, three-layer toilet paper Soffione Premio and paper towels Soffione Menu and Soffione Maxi.

Currently, the first Futura (Italy) conversion line for the production of toilet paper and paper towels under its own brand Soffione (capacity of 276 million conventional rolls of toilet paper per year) has been put into operation at the plant” Arkhbum Tissue Group”.

Now installation works on the installation of the second line of converting of Futura (Italy) and the new papermaking machine (BDM) “turnkey”, the Andritz AG company (Austria) on a production of a basis-paper (power of 70 thousand tons) pass.

According to the member of the Board of Directors of ACBK Vladimir Krupchak, “the launch of the second conversion line and BDM will be held in July 2019 with the corresponding opening ceremony of the first stage of the plant”.

Earlier, Vladimir Krupchak said that LLC “Arkhbum Tissue Group” plans to take up to 15% of the market in Russia. Among the competitive advantages, he named vertical integration within the group of companies, which minimizes the raw material risk due to the fact that the asset in Vorsino Kaluga region will operate on pure cellulose FSC-certified raw materials of the Arkhangelsk PPM.

Among the factors of successful entry into the market, Vladimir Krupchak named his own fleet of railway cars and vehicles, which will allow “Arkhbum Tissue Group” to optimize logistics costs, plus proximity to one of the most modern dry transport ports of Russia – Kaluga Freight Village, as well as the availability of highly qualified specialists working at the holding’s enterprises.
