The investment project, the cost of which to 154.5 million rubles, launched in Primorsky Krai
The woodworking company “Zhunda” started production of OSB and plywood. The project was implemented under the agreement on investment activities in the free port of Vladivostok with Far East Development Fund JSC, 8 jobs were created, the number of which will gradually be increased to 167.
The company is located in Ussuriysk, Primorsky Krai. Plywood, repair and transport shops, a forest warehouse are located in the building with an area of 7 thousand square meters. Formwork, OSB and plywood are produced here. The company uses low-grade wood, ridge, imported from the forestry of Primorye, and does not plan to engage in harvesting activities.
According to the representative of Zhunda, almost all the volumes of plywood and OSB supplied to the Primorye market are imported from China, which negatively affects the supply economy. Given the high demand for building materials, it was decided to organize its own modern wood processing waste-free production and compete with Western analogues of products.
The company expects to annually produce 35 thousand square meters of OSB, formwork, plywood and supply products to consumers of Primorsky Krai and other regions of the Far East.
