Terneyles to invest 1.7 billion rubles to upgrade its dry sawn timber production facilities

In March 2021, the company signed a contract for the supply and installation of three drying tunnels with a capacity of 300,000 m³ of dry sawn timber per year. It is also planned to supply three lines of the same capacity. The total value of investments in the project will be about 1.7 billion rubles.

Since 2019, Terneyles has been implementing a project to upgrade its existing facilities and build a new sawmill to increase the roundwood sawing output to 430,000 m³ per year. The value of capital expenditures for this project is over 2.8 billion rubles. It is expected that the new capacities will allow the company to process 100% of its harvested softwood timber. The project is scheduled to be completed by January 1, 2022.
