Sveza started producing plywood with craft coating
Sveza started producing craft-coated plywood popular in the USA. The new product called SVEZA Paint Kraft — plywood designed to be painted — will reduce the waste of surface preparation time by 70% and paint consumption, by up to 20%. First batches of Kraft birch plywood have already been shipped from mills in Verhnaya Sinyachiha in the Sverdlovsk Region and Kostroma.
The surface of the new Kraft plywood is laminated with a special craft paper in universally applicable light-brown color. The product is designed both for interior finishing (walls, doors, furniture) and outside operations — decoration of facades and children’s playgrounds, making accessories for vehicles and sports gear.
The feature of Kraft plywood is the two-phase film; the outer part of the surface is less saturated with resins and can absorb paint in a uniform manner.
«The new product by Sveza is really popular in the USA: this market has historically had dense craft films,» Evgeniya Hoseini, Product Manager at Sveza, explains. «Today, we have agreements on SVEZA Paint Kraft deliveries. We can also see that European partners are interested and will soon expand the sales geography of our product.»
