Segezha Group’s Vyatka Plywood Mill has been admitted to the European Federation of the Parquet Industry

The Vyatka Plywood Mill (Segezha Group, AFK Sistema) has been officially admitted to the European Federation of the Parquet Industry (FEP). The FEP’s technical committee has reviewed and approved the specifications for Segezha Ecofloor, one of the products under the company’s brand.

This product will be used for the production of high-quality engineered wood and parquet, with plywood serving as the floor-covering base. Segezha Ecofloor is environmentally friendly, resilient and resistant to delamination. Its capacity for maintaining the same thickness throughout the body of the product is remarkable. The product is delivered within a special film that keeps moisture at an optimum level.

By becoming a member of the FEP, Segezha Group, represented by the Vyatka Plywood Mill, has secured the right to participate in the Federation’s official events and thus develop a closer relationship with the professional community of EU-based parquet manufacturers. More thorough research can now be conducted to identify the needs and desires of potential customers in order to jointly optimise the quality of the parquet plywood, or even develop an entirely new product.
