Segezha Group’s key assets in Siberia — Lesosibirsk LDK No. 1, Novoyeniseisk LHK, Timber Trans, and Tairiku-Igirima Group (TIG) — reached full capacity in H1 2025, doubling the production and shipment of wood fuel pellets, the timber holding’s press service reported.

From January to June 2025, total pellet output at these facilities amounted to 61,000 tonnes, with Lesosibirsk LDK No. 1 accounting for 45%, TIG for 29%, and Timber Trans for 26%. For comparison, total pellet production in H1 2024 stood at 31,000 tonnes.

Pellet sales in H1 2025 almost tripled year-on-year, rising from 25,200 tonnes to 70,600 tonnes. South Korea remains the key export market, receiving over 80% of total pellet shipments — more than double the volume for the same period in 2024 (22,400 tonnes).

During the reporting period, more than 14,000 tonnes of pellets were shipped to Russian buyers, five times the figure for the same period last year. The bulk of domestic sales came from Lesosibirsk LDK No. 1 (10,300 tonnes).
