According to a post on the Spark analytics system, Segezha Group liquidated Segezha Sawmills LLC. Winding-up of the sawmill at one of the company’s oldest sites in Karelia began more than a year ago, as reported by TASS that references the press office of Segezha Group. “Most employees were transferred to other production sites within the group, taking into account their personal wishes,” the representative added.

Segezha Group explained to TASS that it had been planning to liquidate the sawmill. In the future, this production venue will be used for further development of Segezhsky PPM, specifically, to implement the Segezha West project.

According to WhatWood data, Segezha Sawmills produced 115,000 m³ of sawn timber in 2021, with a production capacity of 150,000 m³.
