Segezha Group certifies deliveries and logging on FSC and PEFC systems

In 2018 all businesses Segezha Group (part of AFK “Sistema”) confirmed the compliance of its activities to the requirements of the voluntary forest certification according to FSC scheme (FSC-C133272). About it reported in a press release sent months of this year.

In parallel with FSC certification for several business units (BU Karelia, Onega BAA) introduced certification schemes PEFC. At the end of December 2018, two certification systems (FSC and PEFC) were audited by PLO ONEGALES LLC and Onegales PJSC.

“After the approval of the report PEFC certificate was issued, he entered the company in early March, – said the head of the certification service Segezha Group Anton Ermolin. – “Currently, the forest management of Segezha PPM is being evaluated by PEFC and FSC.”

The forest certification approval program (PEFC) is an international non – profit non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable forest management through independent third party certification.
