27 July 2021 ` 10:23

Segezha Group has begun a full upgrade of equipment at Onega LDK, the Company’s wood-processing asset in Arkhangelsk region. The project will be completed over a period of 2.5 years and will receive investment totaling more than RUB 5.5 billion.

As part of the renovation, new production facilities will be built, including those for sorting sawn logs, a hewing and milling line featuring log feed and systems for sorting sawmilling waste, green and dried timber sorting lines and a pellet factory with an annual production capacity of 30 tons. The investment in these facilities will make Onega LDK a completely circular, zerowaste operation and will enable the plant to increase its annual sawn timber output by 20% to reach 280,000 m³.
