– At the meeting of Karelia governor Alexander Khudilainen with the Managing Director of the American company Development & Investment LLC Charles Munger the parties signed a cooperation agreement providing for the construction of a housing factory.

– LDK KarelYugLes company will build a sawmill in the Olonets district of Karelia. The launch of the first stage of the project is scheduled for summer 2015.

– After stopping three paper machines, Volga newsprint mill had to halve production volumes and cut exports threefold (down to 10,000 tons a month). However, sales of newsprint produced at PM8 for the domestic market will not decrease and will reach 12 thousand tons a month, said CEO Dmitriy Donchenko.

– At a meeting of the Investment Council of the Krasnoyarsk region, applications of Krasnoyarsk chemical company LLC and Xilotech-Siberia LLC for inclusion in the priority investment projects list have been approved.

– At a meeting of the Investment Council of the Vologda region, several investment projects have also been approved. In particular, Cherepovets plywood & furniture factory plans to expand birch plywood production.
