Russia substantially increased wood-based panels production in 1H 2021

According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) in 1H 2021, plywood production in Russia increased by 15.4% YoY to 2.3 mln m³. The output of fiberboard (including MDF/HDF/flooring) also increased by 25.7% YoY to 355 mln conv. m², and particleboard (including OSB) by 30.6% YoY to 5.5 mln conv. m³.
