Russia significantly increased wood-based panels production in January-May 2021

According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) in January-May 2021, plywood production in Russia increased by 16.2% YoY to 1.9 mln m³. The output of fiberboard (including MDF/HDF/flooring) also increased by 26.7% YoY to 293 mln conv. m², and particleboard (including OSB) by 31% YoY to 4.4 mln conv. m³.
