Russia increased wood-based panels production in 1Q 2021

According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat) in 1Q 2021, plywood production in Russia increased by 13.5% YoY to 1.1 mln m³. The output of fiberboard (including MDF/HDF/flooring) also increased by 5.4% YoY to 172 mln conv. m², and particleboard (including OSB) by 10.8% YoY to 2.6 mln conv. m³.
