Rozas company to invest 260.5 million rubles into OSB production in the Perm region

The company Rozas is specializing in timber harvesting and woodworking and ready to invest 260.5 million rubles in the construction of a new line for the production of OSB from deadwood. This will increase the efficiency of processing of raw materials up to 30,000 m3/y and allows to produce 15,000 m3/y of OSB.

At a meeting of the Council on Entrepreneurship and Improving the Investment Climate under the Governor of the Perm region, the investment project was given the status of «priority». The launch of the line is planned in 2020 in Chastye village. The company plans to launch two more lines of similar production in other areas of the Perm region.

The management of Rosas LLC confirmed to WhatWood agancy its the planned production capacities, and also announced that Neoparma Group (Perm) is to supply the equipment.

According to WhatWood, Russia annually produces about 1.45 million m3 of OSB per year (2019). STOD is the largest manufacturer, producing 36.5% of the total Russian OSB. Read more in the review «OSB Market in Russia 2019-2020».
