Region-Les started the construction of a wood pellet workshop, the next step is the construction of a sawmill

4 September 2020 ` 12:51

Region-Les has started the construction of a wood pellet workshop, its design production capacity is 80,000 tons per year. Production start-up is scheduled for November 2020.

The next phases provide for the creation of a sawmill with a capacity of up to 350,000 m³ of processed sawlogs with the subsequent increase up to 500,000 m³ per year.

At the moment, the enterprise does not have enough forest resources to fully implement the project. Instead of the available 250,000 m³, it needs at least 400,000 m³.
