Project for the company and the city: JSC “Solikamskbumprom” completes the reconstruction of Solikamskaya HPP

JSC Solikamskbumprom finishes the implementation of the large-scale project on reconstruction of the equipment of LLC Solikamskaya Heating Power Plant (HPP). Buildings were erected, modern equipment was installed. About it reports a press-service of the company.

To ensure reliable operation of complex modern equipment of pulp and paper production, reliable energy supply is necessary. The development of production capacity of Solikamsk HPP will allow JSC “Solikamskbumprom” to increase the share of its own electricity for the production of newsprint.

Dmitry Yashin, Director of energy supply and energy efficiency of JSC “Solikamskbumprom”, told about the progress of work on the project of reconstruction of HPP:

“All the main buildings and structures have already been built. Laying of pipelines and cable products is being completed. The installation deadline is the first quarter of 2019. The main commissioning works will be carried out in the second quarter of this year. To date, selected part of the engineering staff. And a group of people has already been trained in the training center of the company wärtsilä Turku in Finland. Also in May, it is planned to train personnel on our site, on new equipment, with the participation of trainers of Wärtsilä company, carrying out installation supervision”.

During the implementation of the project, a gas piston station was built with the installation of three gas piston units with a heat recovery system.

The updated equipment will improve the efficiency of fuel and energy resources and reliability of heat supply in the Northern part of Solikamsk.
