Production of corrugated cardboard began in the Primorsky Region

7 November 2022 ` 16:00

Dobroflot Group that specializes in canned fish production built a plant to produce cardboard packaging in Bolshoy Kamen (“Big Stone”) Advanced Development Territory within its own import substitution project, as reported on the company website. The investment value reached about 500 million rubles.

The new plant with a capacity of over 6 million m² of corrugated packaging per year is supposed to not only satisfy all the group’s needs but also be able to supply cardboard packaging to other enterprises in the country. To make this product, the plant uses Russian raw material supplied by pulp & paper mills from the Irkutsk Region. The company is planning to achieve the design capacity by the end of September 2022, producing up to 24,000 m² of corrugated cardboard per day.
