On June 11, 2020, overhaul of process flow 2 producing fiberboard was completed at the plant owned by Plitny Mir LLC (located in Emva, Komi).

In three weeks, a large scope of work was implemented to repair, do maintenance on and upgrade various assemblies and components of Zemak process flow that was commissioned in 1976. The last time the line experienced such large-scale overhaul was in 2005-2006.

The overhaul cost 21 million rubles. A series of actions was implemented within the performed overhaul to improve energy efficiency at the production site. Specifically, frequency changers were installed on pulp mixing and feeding pumps and steam shutdown valves, which has already yielded the first dividends. Installing a frequency changer on wood pulp feeding pump with the total capacity of 55 kW reduced electric power consumption from 32 to 20 kW/h.
