Norske Skog revenue declines by almost 14%

Norwegian timber holding company published a report on the results of work in 1 quarter. 2020, Norske Skog revenue declined 13.7%. The company’s revenue for the reporting period amounted to about $ 284.4 million. EBITDA for the first three months of this year amounted to about $ 41.7 million, which is almost 12% less than in the same period in 2019.

The company also reported that in the first quarter of 2020, Norske Skog’s production capacities were loaded at 86%, for comparison, in January-March 2019 – at 89%. Paper production amounted to 503 thousand tons, which is 14% less year on year. The volume of deliveries decreased by 9.8% and amounted to 495 thousand tons.
