New pellet plant started in the Arkhangelsk region

As noted by Kirill Khudyakov, head of pellet production group of companies “Region-Les”: “the plant consists of four sections: feeding and grinding, drying, pressing and pelletizing”.

The launch of the new pellet plant closes the full cycle of the technological process of deep processing of wood.

A year ago,  Region-Les opened a sawmill here. Its capacity is 130 thousand cubic meters of wood per year. After processing of wood at the enterprise there are tons of chips, sawdust and bark. The pellet plant will not only get rid of waste, but also make a profit. The plant will produce 15 thousand tons of  biofuel per year.

Region-Les will export high quality products. Despite the sanctions, there are a lot of applications for the supply of pellets from the EU.

In assets of  Region-Les there are already four logging enterprises and the Shenkursky division — sawmill. In the future, another production will be opened.

Region-Forest produces about 750 thousand cubic meters of wood per year and is engaged in reforestation – in the greenhouses of the holding grow up to a million seedlings of spruce and pine per year.
