Luke: Finland reduces forest industry products export in January-October 2020

In January-October 2020, the exports value of forest industry products totalled in real terms € 8.60 billion. Compared to the same period previous year the exports value decreased by 16% (deflated using wholesale price index).

In January-October 2020, the real exports value of wood products industries was € 2.02 billion and decreased from previous year 12%. In the same period the exports value of sawn timber decreased by 14%.

The exports value of pulp and paper industries totalled in real terms € 6.58 billion in January-October 2020 and decreased by 17% from the same period previous year. In the same period the exports value of paper decreased by 28% and of pulp by 21%. The exports value of paperboard did not change.
