Lesosibirsky LDK No. 1 increases its production capacity

Segezha Group has started its investment project for the construction of drying kilns at the site of Lesosibirsky LDK No. 1. The project will allow to increase the annual output of finished products. The plant currently produces over 600,000 m³ of sawn timber destined for foreign markets per year.

The first stage of the project provides for the installation of three batch drying kilns manufactured by Secal S.r.I, an Italian company; they will allow better drying of larch and fir sawn timber and prepare raw materials for the newly created planing site. Installation and adjustment of the equipment are scheduled for July 2021, it will be put into operation in September 2021.

The investment project also provides for the second stage to install nine more batch drying kilns at the plant. The second stage is scheduled to be started in early 2022.
