Krasnodar ranks sixth in Russia for the production of pulp and paper products
Prospects of the development of this industry, the head of the city Yevgeny Pervushov discussed during the working visit of the largest in the South of Russia holding paper and cellulose production LLC “Kuban-Papir”.
This was reported by the press service of the administration and the city Duma of Krasnodar. The company currently plans to invest in further expansion of production capacity and modernization of equipment.
“For our city, it is important that the Krasnodar brands are becoming more popular. It is even more important that you continue to develop and are ready to invest in further expansion of production, to produce new products. For its part, will provide you with the necessary assistance and support, including the resolution of land issues”, — said Eugene Pervyshev.
The head of the city also noted that the holding “Kuban-Papir” — a vivid example of how a relatively short time in Krasnodar has grown a powerful enterprise, whose products are in demand throughout the country. Thanks to the successful development of the holding, the capital of Kuban became one of the leaders in the production of pulp and paper products.
As the Director of the company Kirill Minin told, the company has been producing pulp and paper products since 1999. Since 2006, the company has expanded, in 2012, the products under its own brand “PLUSHE” — napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, paper handkerchiefs-entered the market.
According to Kirill Minin, ” work on our own brand has been going on for a year and a half. Today, 17 million people buy “PLUSHE” products every month. At the same time, about 20-25% of the products are supplied to the shelves of the Krasnodar region and supplied to the enterprises of the Kuban and the regional capital.”

Production of Poti is fully automated, much attention is paid to the service, the products are not only produced but also delivered to customers. As Kirill Minin said, the company’s motto is”we produce what we need, not what we can.”
Now the company produces up to 1900 tons of cellulose base per month, 200 million units of products per year, the main part is processed into finished products, the rest is sent as raw materials to other manufacturers. Now in the assortment of the enterprise-more than 500 types of goods. The company employs almost 400 people.
In 2019, the company plans to upgrade the equipment for the production of paper, to launch a new production line for the production of face wipes.
