6 August 2020 ` 18:06

The Estonian wood industry company Kaamos Timber entered into a 15 million € loan agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) whose support will be used to establish a new sawmill owned by the Estonian company near the city of Mozyr in Belarus. In total it’s supposed to be a 25 million € investment and to almost double Kaamos Timber’s existing annual production capacity in the Belarusian wood industry to 450,000 m³. Customers are based in the Baltics, Europe and Asia.

The EBRD has been already cooperating with the company on successfully growing the sawmill in Vitebsk.
