In the Tyumen region in just a month with the help of a drone revealed four facts of illegal logging. The amount of damage is estimated at 7 400 thousand rubles
According to the government of the Tyumen region, four facts of illegal logging were revealed in the Vagai district with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The total volume of discovered illegal logging is 384,7 cubic meters and the Amount of damage – 7 379,9 thousand rubles.
In the course of measures to control the forest Fund, in the period from January 11 to February 5, four facts of illegal logging with the amount of damage 7 379,9 thousand rubles were revealed. Photos and videos captured by the unmanned vehicle were transferred to the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tyumen region along with acts of forest violations. Criminal cases have been initiated, operational and investigative measures are being taken to identify the perpetrators.
The use of the complex with unmanned aerial vehicles in order to detect illegal logging is fixed by an additional agreement on the procedure of interaction of the Department for the protection, control, and regulation of the use of wildlife and their habitat of the Tyumen region and the Department of Forestry of the Tyumen region.
Specialists of the Federal state forest supervision Department, district foresters of “Tyumenles” and the commander and technician of the complex with unmanned aerial vehicles of the state hunting Department agree on a schedule of joint activities and leave with checks on forest areas.
Within the framework of the agreement, drones will be involved in the fire-dangerous period. The use of remote monitoring tools makes it possible to detect forest fires and record even small fires. In the fire-dangerous period, the unmanned aerial system can be used for aerial reconnaissance and monitoring of forest fires.
The monitoring complex includes two long-range unmanned aircraft with an automatic control system, GPS/GLONASS navigation system, built-in photo, and video equipment, and a mobile control system installed in the off-road vehicle.
The complex is designed for aerial surveillance at any time of the day at a distance of up to 50 km with the transmission of video in real time.
The unmanned tactical range aircraft is equipped with an automatic control system (autopilot), a GPS/GLONASS navigation system, an integrated digital telemetry system, navigation lights, a built-in three-axis magnetometer, a module for holding and active tracking, a digital built-in camera, a digital broadband video transmitter C-OFDM modulation, a radio modem with a SNS receiver with the ability to work without a SNS signal, a self-diagnosis system, a parachute release and a search transmitter.
